The Buchanan Turf Farm
Buchanan Turf Supplies has been operating in the Hunter Valley for 25 years. Originally located at Buchanan Via East Maitland, but for the past 16 years at 133 Flat Road, Bolwarra, on the rich flood plain of the Hunter River.
At Buchanan Turf, we cultivate a wide range of turf grasses on our 100 acre property. The turf is irrigated, fertilised and manicured throughout the year. As well as new turf varieties being developed and trialed to offer a better range of grasses in the future.
Buchanan turf is mechanically harvested and palletised so that handling can be made easier on sites with difficult access.
Buchanan Turf offers the following turf varieties:
Depending on seasonal demand and workload some varieties of turf may not be available at certain times of the year and therefore could result in a delay of delivery. We offer delivery to all areas in the Hunter Valley, usually within about two days, as well as a laying service.

Turf can be ordered and picked up from these suppliers, or they can also arrange for direct delivery to your site.

Turf is available in 1 m2 rolls, which are 600 mm wide x 1.66 m long. We can also supply Maxi Rolls for large jobs, which are up to 40 m2. Some turf is grown on netlon reinforcing. Our main delivery trucks are equipped with all terrain forklifts to allow turf to be delivered as close as possible to the required position.
