Start at a straight line, on any boundaries e.g. driveways or pathways. |
Lay out the rolls, as you would a rug or tiles. |
Make sure all joints are butted together without overlapping. |
Stagger the joints in each new row, like rows of bricks. |
Using a large sharp knife or spade for shaping turf around trees, flower beds or along borders. |
Completely soak the turf with at least 25mm (1 in) of water on completion of installation. Turf is a living plant that requires ground contact and moisture to survive. |
Roll the grass to smooth out small bumps and air pockets. This will assure good contact with the soil. |
Soft Leaf Buffalo may need a light top dressing with sand when first installed if adequate watering can't be maintained. Extra water will be necessary in hot and windy conditions. |

Traffic Caution
Use your newly laid lawn sparingly until good root establishment has taken place - two to three weeks (in warm season). |
Avoid concentrated play activities, dog traffic or similar rough usage until establishment. |
There are no restrictions on visually enjoying your beautiful new lawn. |
